Shawn Floyd, Writer, Publisher, Motivational Speaker, and Mentor, is a God-fearing, humbled woman who has a passion to encourage others in their faith and goals during challenging times. Since becoming a single mother of three, she developed spending an excess of quality time with her children whilst becoming a more active listener. Through this she discovered that youth, particularly teens, need someone who will take the time out to listen to them. As a problem child herself, she learned the importance of getting to the root of the problem vs. focusing attention on the behavior at hand. After mentoring a few teens and serving several parents request to counsel their teens, it was clear to her that she had a higher sense of purpose. From there, she continued to pray, seeking out God for guidance on how to move this idea from conception to fruition. Although always inspired by children, she realized that it’s time to birth the vision that God entrusted her with.
